Tires

I was quoted $1,100 for a set of 4 OE Bridgestone Turanza ER30 255/55/R18 XL at a local tire store. Does this price seem high? In addition, does anybody have any experience with any different tires?

Thanks for your help

I hit a curb yesterday and made a pretty good gash in the sidewall of the front passenger side tire. All 4 tires need to be replaced because the tread is wearing thin. My 18" wheel is also showing battle wounds. I do not know if i will get the wheel repaired or just leave it like it is.
