Feedback needed on 20" & 22"

okay i have lovely 18" turbo wheels.
in few days i have to decide which one to go with.
still like the look of oz canyon 22" but gotta admit love the look of gemballa 22" racing wheel.

does anyone noticed 22" make ride any slower or hard to control?
i have 19" mich on my x5 and it rides different than cs...like heavier(normal for bmw) but solid...not better than cs with pasm.

turbo owners, i assume 22" doesn't make any difference or is it?

22" - def. adds bling with $$ factor.
20" - more of daily kind? safer???

Don't have a turbo but will be putting on 22" oz canyons next week on my S (in the mail now)... I have 19's now... I can let you know the ride difference I experience...

This is how I chose my rubber size...

Diam RPM
OEM 275-45-19 28.8 722 Mich Dimarias
285-30-22 28.9 720 Pirelli Scorp.
285-35-22 30.1 692 Mich Dimaries (Pir does not make this size)

So I went with the closest to OEM as I have always when putting after market wheels on an SUV...

I'm sure 35 would be smoother with a little more sidewall..

I have a v6 currently with oz 22's on it. It deffinetly makes it a bit slower. But it's worth every sacrifice. Don't waste your money on 20's.... as soon as you get them you'll wish you ordered 22's! Trust me...

Go with the 22's

I have noticed a better handling and no lag slowness.
They are well worth the money if you buy good ones.. Don't buy any cheap wheels that are heavy..that might slow braking times..

Best of luck...

Go with the canyons...they are the best bang for your buck. Light and easy to sell so you won't lose your *** like buying the gemalla's

Much agreement here about going with 22's vs. 20's
My ride quality has not suffered one bit, they never have given me a sense of slowing me down any either.
I had to set my suspension to "comfort" because on "sport" and "normal" they felt a litle too stiff for me.
Never had a problem with vibration either.

Post some images once you got them strapped up

i like the 22'' look no doubt but 20'' fits my need better. plus i'm not a fan of lip so my choices are limited. go with what u like.

I'll be interested to hear about your ride quality... that 285/30 has a real "rubber band" for a sidewall... most here go with 285/35 to get a bit of sidewall and fill the wheel well.
