Limit Exceeded

Quick question for you guys....I have a 2005 Cayenne that we bought about a month ago. On the Radio/Navagation unit while the raido is on the screen goes black and "Limit Exceeded" pops up for about 2 seconds and the the main screen returns. The radio does not turn off during the Limit Exceeded 2 second.
I did not see any thing in the manual and it is still under warrenty but i have not had time to take it to the dealer.
Thanks for any advice

Someone has set a speedlimit on your PCM, I will try to figure out how to disable it by tommorow , I hope the otherguys could tell you how to disable it as soon as possible

Very cool I will look in the manual tonight to see how to disable that tonight.
Thank you very much I was worried that it had something to do with the radio / nav.
Thanks Again

No, Dont worry its nothing serious you just have to fiddle with the PCM to get it switched off nothing technical

It's not in the PCM, the setting is in the instrument cluster computer. Just go into Menu and go to limt, and either turn it off or set it to max, either way will get rid of it.

Thanks for the help MM & speeddem.
It was in the Trip Function. I guess you can put a time limit to remind you to pull over and take a break.

So I have the same problem on a 2004 cayenne s.... But when I go into the settings it only gives me back, vehicle info, and settings. I checked all the settings and even put it at factory settings and can't get the limit option. Any ideas for me?

Were you driving at the time. Not all settings are available if car is moving.
