Hey guys... I might be looking into a used (low miles) cayenne turbo. Can anyone list the cosmetic/power differences between the 04 and 06? Thanks in advance!

None, unless you go from stock '04 CTT to '06 CTT-S.

MY '06 CTT Nav screen a little brighter and DVD based rather than CD based, ability to have option of backup camera on MY '06 CTT too.

All other differences visually depend on what add-ons the owner of the MY '04 did if any. But those add-ons wouldn't have changed up through MY '06 so there is no cosmetic difference between MY here either.

Other than that, no cosmetic or performance changes at all.

I am not a 100% but I think the 04's didnt have the Pano roof and the back up camera option. No other diffrences come to mind.

i also think that all '03 & '04 cars dont have the bottom part of the rear & front bumpers painted in the same color as the car.

Here is a pretty nice '05 from Clair

Lower valences were always painted for the cayenne turbos, Bentley was referring to the Cayenne and the cayenne s

ffr996 - did your '04 CTT have alot of electrical issues? All demons exorcised though right? I had two electrical/software issues which were resolved quickly and painlessly at the $tealer initially but none since.

On forums we tend to hear more from people that have had problems because they are more likely to voice dissatisfaction vs. those who are satisfied -eh?

Good deal on the '04 I would go for it -make sure all TSB's have been performed and get a CPO if you are going through a dealer. If not then bring the truck to a dealer to have it fully inspected. Probably cost you 2-3hr of labor charge but it will give you peace of mind.

Hi Bernie,

The early '04 CTT had less interior furnishings such as a crap rear view mirror wihtout homelink and such. Other then that, they are basically the same with the latest recalls performed that added new side trim and such. Working mechanicals are exactly the same. The car is great! I think you will really like it but give me a call. Let you drive it and have some other cars you may be interested in at a good price that a client just told me about (Bentley CGT and AM DB9).

I went from an 04 turbo to an 06 turbo S. Pano and backup camera as said are newer options. If you actually use navigation a lot, the DVD based on the 05/06s is way better than the cd based on the 03/04s. My 06 has less steering wheel vibration than my 04 and a less hesitant transmission. Unless you are like me and just have to have the most powerful, expensive SUV out there (I also ordered mine 100% to my specifications), I would go with the Turbo over the Turbo S. It's a better value if you aren't super picky about having every option you want, especially with the deals out there.
