Strange vibration on steering wheel when turning?

I have an 06 CS with less than 1000 miles... I changed to 20" Gemballas and now there is a very strong vibration on the steering wheel when I turn it to the lock position (either side). In other words, say I'm trying to come out of a parking space, if I turn the steering wheel all the way in either direction, the steering wheel shakes like crazy... is this normal? Didn't really notice this problem with the stock wheels... but hard to say coz I had less than 500 miles when I swapped the wheels. Anyone else with this problem? Thanks!

The wheels were rotated and balanced by Gemballa before they were installed in the car. No signs of rubbing... plus I'm running on stock suspension which sits pretty high. I'll double check later to make sure there is no rubbing .

check inside. with the current height the outside should not have problem.

I checked the interior well and the plastic panels don't have any signs of rubbing with the tires... also, the crazy shaking doesn't happen every single time I turn the steering wheel to the max left or right... only sometimes.

I also noticed that when I brake and the car is about to come to a complete stop, there is a noise coming from the front suspension area, mostly from the driver's side. Maybe both things are related?

And of course I have the infamous steering wheel vibration when driving at 60-80mph... though minor. Sigh...

or try and mount your stock wheels back on and see if the problem continues. Then you can pinpoint whether it is your new wheels causing it or another problem altogether...

Sigh... I'll get an alignment after I get my Techart springs hehehe. I doubt its the new wheels because they are only 20s and a lot of people get Gemballas with no problems. And I see no visible rubbing... nor does it look like the tires are too close to the plastic covers. And I'ved tried to replicate the noise and haven't been able to... it doesn't happen EVERY time. Its actually rare.

Well apparently a broken frint upper control arm bushing was the problem... dealer replaced it under warranty and so far it looks like it fixed the problem (knock on wood).

I think sir you need to secure your belt and tensioner and if the problem is gone temporary but later on you foud out that coming back you should change the dupper pulley the belt is not properly greep to the pulley and interminent power to the power steering pump and it will cause a vibration in the steering.hopefully can help sir.
