Question How do you lower a Cayenne?

Thinking of getting a Cayenne. What does it take to lower one. Are there different ways to go about it? What are the aprox. costs?
Thanks in advance, Rich
P.S. If anyone has any photos of lowered Cayennes that you could post I would love to see them.

Cayenne's with pasm/air suspension u can use air suspension module..
or replacing the links with a shorter one.

With Steel spring it;s just like any other car either lowering springs or
coilover setup

Could someone please elaborate more as to what this actually entails? Are all air suspension levels effectively lowered, or is there a new "way low" level? How is the module installed? Are some products better than others? Thanks!

Adjustable Ride

I have just received the replacement links for lowering my CTT and will fit them in the next couple of days. They replace the originals and are adjustable to suit. The longer the bar the lower the height.
I will post feed back and pics once done.
I got them from John at www.adjustableairride.com.

Cheers.

PS I am in no way associated to the company. Just hope to help out.

Adjustable Ride

I have just fitted new adjustable linkages to my CTT and first attempt has dropped the car way to low. It is certainly effective and I can see that it will be pretty straight forward but will have to shorten the linkages to raise her back up again. It is virtually on the bump stops and negative camber is extreme.
Will report back tomorrow when I re-adjust then post pics.

Gives you a lower , low level setting and higher offroad, here's the
techart as as example...I kinda like the sleep mode

You just swap the stock module with the new one, it's located by your cd changer on the right rear compartment..

Lower on the road, higher off road

Up to 80 millimeters lowering on the road and up to 70 millimeters lifting for heavy-duty off road operation: The new TechArt Sport air suspension module from TechArt Automobildesign further expands the scope of the Porsche Cayenne.
The TechArt Sport suspension module, which is offered for a retail price of 1 682 Euros for all Cayenne models with air suspension, can be easily installed by every workshop due to its plug-and-play technology. The standard control module can be installed again anytime.
In parking position the Cayenne customized by TechArt "sleeps" in lowest position. When the engine is started the SUV automatically lifts up to standard level. By using the standard suspension level adjustment wheel on the cockpit the Cayenne can be alternatively lowered by about 80 millimeters or lifted up to 70 millimeters to reach a bigger ground clearance for off road driving. The computer-controlled TechArt Sport air suspension module is designed to provide enough residual spring travel to guarantee an optimal driving safety and to preserve the ride comfort of the car.

This is the TechArt lowering module which replaces the original module.
Special effect is that when you lock the car while you are in low leve
it goes down in loading level for parking!

For further information contact CEC or lucentmotors.
