Cargraphic?

Does anyone have experience with Cargraphic aero parts, how is the fit? I've heard they are made of fiberglass( for the price I wish they were made of polyurethane). Is it a direct install or do they need body shop prep work? Thanks for any info?

I have the front spoiler for the Cayenne CS. They say it's fits like "OEM" but it's far from it. First off, they shipped my bodyshop the wrong spoiler, it was for a Cayenne Turbo. When I finally received the correct spoiler, the quality was poor. Yes it is fiberglass and it had a chunk missing on the bottom. It also had pits (small pin holes) all over. One side looked like it had some repair done on it after the molding process. It took over 10 hours of prep time to make the finish look good. And took three techs to install. The contour also wasn't flush on both right and left side. It's slightly shorter than the OE bumper from the side profile.

For the price you pay for, it should fit like "OEM". My bodyshop was pissed because they quoted me for hours based on "OEM" fitment. 2 hours labor time only. I still had to pay more than the original quote but not full hours that they spent on it.

Hope this helps.

I just bought a Cragraphic front lip for my 997 turbo and the quality was rubbish. It cracked , a bit fell out and it wouldnt fit. My bodyshop said it was the worst they had seen. I had also ordered a rear spoiler and this was cancelled as the spoiler had failed to pass TUV approval giving too much downforce.
The service is very poor IMO dont go there. Techart definitely seem to have a far better reputation. I only hear good things about the quality and fit.
Hope that helps your decision.

I'm not sure if you all are ordering from Cargraphic Germany - and there is now only one authorized distributor in the US, or from other places selling "Cargraphic" labeled parts, which are knockoffs made in Indonesia and China. There was another group distributing misrepresented parts here in the states and distributing those parts to other vendors buying and selling them asa true" Cargraphic" kits/equipment.

Here is a tag from Cargraphic's website:

"Cargraphic is pleased to announce that Road Sport Supply, an aftermarket performance parts distributor for high end European exotic cars, will be an authorized US distributor for the Cargraphic product line.

Road Sport Supply (RSS) is dedicated to servicing an exclusive dealership network throughout the United States. Road Sport Supply is designed to meet the fast pace timelines associated with the after market tuner and racing industry by offering a comprehensive and “in stock” inventory of Cargraphic products. Located in Southern California, RSS caters to the high end European car enthusiasts who require more than stock performance and the factory look.

Road Sport Supply is a fully functional distribution center set up to service US dealers but RSS is also capable of performing installations of any Cargraphic products onto your vehicle inside their full service tuner-race shop located on the premises.

Please visit www.roadsportsupply.com to learn more about RSS and the Cargraphic product line or contact them direct at 714-545-1046 or sales@roadsportsupply.com.

Email: sales@roadsportsupply.com
or: info@cargraphic.de
Web: www.roadsportsupply.com
or: www.cargraphic.com

Henry Hershel Zelcer or Cargraphic USA no longer has any relationship or affiliation with Cargraphic GmbH and is not an authorized dealer or distributor of CARGRAPHIC products or services."

I thought that their sport exhaust true Cargraphic, was VERY well made and engineered. But maybe they do really suck with body kits if you did order from the real deal.

Yes, I purchased it from Road Sport Supply (RSS). Which is the new US distributor. They're the ones who told me that it's "OEM" fit. Do NOT believe this.

Sorry to hear about all of your bad experiences. I ordered the Cargraphics carbon lip for my 997S. It fit perfectly, and is a beautiful addition to my car.

My part was from Cargraphic Germany. The UK distributor had to back up the refund as Cargraphic Germany weren.t coming to the table very quickly.
I have decided to go with 9ff for my rear spoiler now. Hope it will be OK.

Thanks Raja. But for the price that you pay, it should be high quality and fit like OEM. I don't recommend it.

i am with you, it's not like some mom and pop who made the spoiler for you.
so the expectation is there along with the price tag.
