i keep hearing how the 03 and 04s were horrible.

can any of the 03/04 owners let us know what were the problems you guys were facing?

on my 05, the navigation had to be replaced. But other than that 23k fun miles.

All issues were completely adressed with TSBs on my former '04.

If I recall there was a problem with the rear hatch latch mechanism, some aluminum trim parts and the audio system which switched modes "on it's own". Each problem was identified by a Technical Service Bulletin and was repaired/replaced by my dealer for no charge whatsoever. I have since traded my '04 with 80,000 km. on a new '06 because I wanted to keep wearing the condom of warranty.

I have an 04 S. Ive had the rear latch problem also, still do, I have to slam it in order for it to close so soon back to the dealer again....Passenger side AC would only work in fan and not cool. Other than that, no other probs. no electrical gremlins either. knock on wood.

ps: there seems to be a rattle in the rear kinda like an old car sound. does this have to do with the rear latch?

In my '04, I am experiencing intermittent FM radio reception problems. 50% of the time when I start it up in the morning (cold?) it sounds like the antenna is unhooked, then restart 1/2 hour later and everything is fine. Two trips to the dealer and it's not fixed yet. Anyone else seen this????

I haven't had any electrical issues with my 04, only problems have been little issues like, horn, rear arm rest ripped when seat was down, drivers side door latch replaced, wasn't recognizing when doors was open or closed. No rear latch issues, I have the automatic trunk closer.

Not a lot of issues on my 04 either. I had the passenger-side door latch replaced and I've had a replace a few light bulbs... Other than that, not much at all.

Had to have the coils replaced. Other than that its been a thrill to drive. Sometimes my car will shift hard out of 1st on a cold start. Anybody else have this problem?

It is suppose to stay in lower gear longer while the engine warms up. The higer revs get it to warm up quicker.
