Should I buy the cayenne TT?
Should I buy the cayenne TT?
Hi all, looking for a little advice:
I own (see sig) a GT2. My wife is pregnant and I need to get a family car.
I really should buy a minivan, but I have a chance to purchase a Cayenne Turbo at a good price. I am far from a wealthy guy (although financially solid) and know virtually nothing about these cars, only that I love my GT2 and would probably love the Cayenne Turbo.
There is a 2004 for sale w/ the following options:
2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
27,xxx miles
4.5L Twin Turbo V8
All Wheel Drive
6 speed Automatic Tiptronic
FULL remaining Factory Warranty
CLEAN CARFAX
20” Techno Sport wheels
Porsche Navigation
Comfort Package
Convenience Package
Active Air suspension
Porsche Parktronic
Rear Spoiler
Front and rear heated Seats
Leveling Package
350 Watt 14 Speaker Bose Stereo system
6 Disc Changer
Moonroof
Suede headliner
Full Leather Interior
Trailer Hitch
20K mile service has been done along with new front rotors and pads at 22K miles
I have negotiated a price of 53K which to my understanding is very fair. However, I really need to get a bargain to justify the purchase. If I drive 20K in 3-4 years, what will be the resale value?
Thank you for your advice.

Thanks for the advice....but would anyone be kind enough to elaborate?
I have read on this forum that there are some problems w/ the 03/04's.
What should I prepare for?

sorry, had to vent. Love it here, but it gets a little old sometimes.
Besides no one actually "lives" in Carmel.

Turbo187,
when I said bad I meant that prices were going down, not up...LOL
I live in Sugarland. I am selling my Carmel house. It is by the water and I will sell it for 829K. Appraised at 910K 20 months ago before the market turned down. And it is a whopping 900 square feet. Want to trade it for your condos and some cash?
So, it looks like I am going to pull the trigger on this car.

Yes, it seems that the market has finally hit bottom. That is why I am selling now because buyers should be more willing to pull the trigger w/ the market on the way up again.
Too many houses in carmel? Wow....that is like having too many supermodel girlfriends.
But back to the topic.....anyone else w/ CTT advice?
