newbie here with pix of 06 white V6 with black RH-ALURAD wheels

been a lurker for awhile and finally decided to become a member of the forums. i'm looking at getting a 997 gt3/gt3 rs in about 3 years.

well the wifey got an 06 V6 with black out package in march of this year and we finally decided to put some wheels on it last week. here are a few pix of the RH-ALURAD powdercoated black wheels 22x10 all around. got the wheels from heinz. the wheels are cool, but the powdercoating was subpar. still looks good for the price we paid with porsche center caps.

anyways, debating on lowering the V6. i've read a lot of techart, eibach, H&R springs, and the KW coilovers. the coilovers are out of the question for us. but the springs might be a good option. looking at a good drop with a civil ride.

do you guys think the V6 should be lowered? and which springs would you choose? H&R, techart, eibach, etc....

lemme know,
john

oh, one more thing.

H&R springs, on the TIRERACK website says a 1.2-1.3" drop, but people on the boards say 1.6". does the 1.2-1.3" drop only happen to cayennes with PASM and the 1.6" drop happen to non PASM cayennes?

TIA,
john

thanx for the tip.

yeah, i thought about blackening the taillights, but who does this service.

i always bought OEM blacked out/smoked taillights for some other cars that i have owned, but never knew a place to paint them.

any leads?
