Upgrade ECU?

I will be getting an ECU upgrade for the CTT.

The work will be done this Friday by DMS Automotive, who are based in the UK, with branches around globe.

They claim +70bhp and 75lb/ft torque. The turbo pressure is increased by +0.2 bar. They have already done work on 40 CTT's to date.

The car should develop significantly more torque so mid range driveability is improved. I am really hoping that some of the lag may be eradicated.

Not sure how these figures look against the upgrades some of you guys have had across the pond?

Cant talk for accross the pond, but DMS tweaked my CTT last week and Im well chuffed.

Initial impressions are that driveablility has been hugely improved. You can still feel the lag but to a much lesser affect. Where before the performance was very much all or nothing it now feels alot more progressive and the boost builds alot quicker.

Acceleration wise, it feels like its in another league aswell. Certainly feels an extra 70 HP at the top end.

Aeroresh, that is great to know.. How does the standard brakes and suspension deal with the extra power??

I just had my wife's car moddified by Protosport in NJ. They used Protomotive CTT software. I added the EVO intake along with a custom made exhaust to the car. I must say the CTT now feels much more responsive especially when used in TIP mode. The car is an absolute beast now above 70-80mph. I am going to do a full write up with pictures sometime next week. I don't have any power numbers now but hope to dyno the car soon.

Good luck with your quest for power!
