Auto wipers?
Auto wipers?
For those with the rain sensor, which maybe everyone for all I know, does adjusting the sensitivity make a difference? I've played with it a bit and it doesn't seem to matter where you set it.
WoolyG on here just traded his S model in for a Q56. It's bad ***. It has every bell and whistle on the planet and stickered for 55K. It doesn't ride and handle like a Pepper, but I feel a little ripped off from porsche that they don't have the level of ammenties and these extras working perfectly for a car at this price point. I still really like the cayenne, but I have to admit that the AC sucking, the auto wipers sucking, lack of ipod support, and features that come standard on Hyundais are options puts me off a bit.
This Q56 has an accessory jack, a compact flash card reader, a 10 gig or something like that music box hard drive that will burn you disc or flash cards to the drive, bluetooth phone, keyless entry and ignition, DVD entertainment system, a beautiful bird's eye nav system, power third row seats, back up camera, and park distance for less than the price of my Cayenne which does not have any of those options. All I got was Nav, the black out package, xenons, and a few other small things for a little more than his Q. I feel hosed...

can you manually adjust the sensitivity on the auto wipers? or is it done by dealer.....i didnt know it could be adjusted.
and you're right, it does suck, on misty days it doesnt work at all and i have to keep wiping it manually. my jag xkr and my bmw m3 were a thousand times better than this....my jag would wipe if a leaf blew on it! w/the porsche i cant even get it to wipe if theres a windshield full of misty drizzle..

A friend of mine JUST picked up a Mazda CX-7 AWD on some special lease deal for $290 per mo, 0 down... I was snickering when he told me about it but went out to lunch with him yesterday and as I'm riding along I'm thinking "This is 95% of my Cayenne". The interior, the handling, the optional stuff... yeah it's doesn't have a gold crest on the hood, but it's not bad!
