Backup camera for Panamera and cayenne

My Panamera did have the Park assist. With the module it puts the park assist on a transparent overlay on the left side of the monitor. You get to see both including lines thata allow you to judge distance.

i would assume this plug in camera only works with PCM 3.1 (bose system or Nav) and not with the base CDR-31 system that is the same screen but different internals?

u can get rear view cam with CDR31 but for some reason i would assume it would need different programming?

Nik,
I am a newbie to the forum and I have yet to reach the threshold required to send a PM. Any ideas?

My 11 CS only has park assist and I need the rear camera,I don't like to cut cables etc but I understand it will be necessary to get the signal to the monitor some way.
can you post the installation manual for a 2011 Cayenne?
This will help my purchase decision ..
