Anyone know if the 2011 Cayenne uses the same 315mhz TPMS sensor as the 2010, part# 95560602301? I need to buy a set for my winter wheels. Thanks in advance.

 

Answer is no, it's different. New part #95836166100.

 

Yes your follow-up post is correct. I checked for my own use at two different places. I think they run $430.00 for a set of 4. But if I'm not mistaken, you can use the new sensors even on the wheels made for the previous gen wheels

 

If I may ask, where did you buy(assuming you bought)? how much?

The best price I found is 78.22 each

 

I paid $479.16 incl. shipping for 4 sensors and valve stems at porscheoemparts.com, one of the board sponsors. I think the price may have gone down since I purchased them, as the list price at the time for 4 sensors + valve stems was $829.32! Porscheoemparts.com now lists the price for each sensor at $76.04, selling for $60.42. I think that's the best price you'll find, unless you try to match a VW or Audi part number, as the Porsche sensor has VW-Audi stamped on it. They don't list the price for the valve stems, but as I recall they are about $20 each.

I bought a set of 2011 Cayenne 18" take-off's (complete with TPMS) as winter tires for my 2010 GTS.

No issues with the 2011 TPMS working on my 2010. They work just fine, so the sensors are compatible.
