2011 Lowering Links
I dont think you are talking about lowering links. They only cost about $300.
Lowering links are garbage... had them installed in my Wife's CTT and had them taken out three days later. Ride quality is horrible.... Lowering module or Coilover system is the way to go. With your 23" rinspeed wheels you are going to hate the ride... of course this is all IMHO...
BTW: I have a set of links for sale in the classifieds...

I have used them in over 10 cars. Here is a list of a few that I had links on all with aftermarket wheels.
CL55 and S500 and SL55 Class benz
Range Rovers full size and sport
3 Cayenne Turbos
All I have driven for over a year at least and had zero problems with them. This will be my 4th cayenne. The last three all had 23in rinspped and all had lowering links. I never had a single problem with them.
I am sure you had a problem in the past as products are never 100% for everyone. I can only go off my own cars and so far they give me a perfect score.
For $300 I really cant see spending $3K for something that does the same thing but from a computer stand point instead of a metal link.
Maybe there are a few companies that make and some not as good as others, I am really not sure.
Until I put them on a car with a problem I can buy 10 sets for the price of 1 lowering computer.

I originally bought my links because of the huge price difference as well. I was sorely disapointed at the ride quality but then again I live in the NY/NJ tristate area where the roads in some places resemble the surface of the moon
If I lived in FL or Cali I don't think I would have minded the ride quality as much...BTW... these are the ones I installed...

If I lived in FL or Cali I don't think I would have minded the ride quality as much...I grew up in pittsburgh pa so I can understand what you saying. The roads suck in pittsbugh with potholes everywhere in the winter from salting the roads.
LA has some problems, I live in OC where the roads are near perfect.
That explains it!
If the links from my truck will work and if you are interested in a great deal let me know.
