EasternLI, did you swap out the puddle light? (Side mirrors)

 

I have the lights under the mirrors but they dont light up, are they part of a package that i dont have or something ? I have the comfort lighting package with the LED strips in the doors, etc but when i go into the options for exterior lighting it doesnt list the mirrors ?!?

 

The lights come on when you shut off the car and exit out. I'll post a pic later.

 

mine dont, im pretty sure they dont work or arent hooked up.

 

picture of mirror puddle light. I trying to figure how to replace the bulb without damaging the len on the bottom of the mirror.

Is wierd your puddle lights are not hook up. Did you check with the Porsche service dept? I have the comfort lighting package too.

 

ill have to go ask, i have the light housing underneath the mirror just like you so id assume it should work but cant figure it out.

 

I was look at the light on the sun visor. Will look alot better if it was white. Now the question is, how do u take it apart and replace it with led.

 

That looks like a major PITA to take apart, im sure you can find the right LED bulbs once you know what bulbs are in there, if you do it let me know and i'll help you find the correct bulbs

 

The puddle light and the sunvisor light are PITA. There no tab for me to stick something flat to pry it off. Might need to disasemble it.

When you get a chance to see the service dept ask them how do you replace the bulb on the puddle lamp?

How is the resistors on the license plate light? Did it get to warm?
