Thinking of purchasing an "S". Some questions about how much you paid and reliability

Looking at purchasing a Cayenne S. Need some recommendations: Cost, Reliability, etc.
I think I originally posted this in the wrong section....

So I'm a new guy here looking at purchasing an S. Several questions I have,

1) Have people been paying cost for their vehicles. One sales guy I spoke with told me they are backed up with orders and that I would need to pay MSRP?

2) What has the reliability been with the Cayenne? Yes, I know all about German cars as I've had both a Mercedes and BMW and the maintenance costs....But what has been the reliability issues or problem areas with the Cayenne?

Thanks

I cannot tell on the current reliability for the 2011-2012 CS, as I am still waiting for mine, t-minus 29 days. What I can tell you is that from what I have read on the forum and my own experience with my previous 04 CS. They seem to have some little quirks show up, nothing major that the dealer usually takes care of right away. I had my 04 for 6 years and other then a window motor the CS was fantastic. As far as paying stricly MSRP, My dealer offered me 5% off MSRP because of the wait time. I would shop around then. In a Porsche you cannot go wrong period, IMHO - Best SUV you can get, by the best manufacturer.

When i picked up my CT in Leipzig,my break in period consisted of the few miles from the factory to the Autobahn, after which,i drove it like i stole it,and even tracked it 3 days later...never had a single problem, flawless behavior so far
I love my Pepper, more so than my 911's
