I did a full hood/bumper wrap on my amethyst (looks black in some lights) as well as the rear bumper and door sills.
No reduction in shine noticable.

I just looked at the all the pictures from yours as well as Premier's film...all looked very nice and shinny! Ok so full hood and bumper with edges of door. I think the line half way up the hood would kill me as well.

I agree with what many here have said.

IMO, and I get no consideration for saying so, Premier is the BEST and I'd listen to what they say.

Find a really good installer. That makes more of a difference than anything. A properly installed, high quality clear bra WILL NOT reduce the shine or luster of your paint. And it will keep your P car looking beautiful for years to come.

I had the full bumper, hood, front fenders as well as A Pillars and the area behind the rear wheels/wheel wells done on my 997 and it was one of the best decisions I made.

It is a must I have had cayenne's since 2004 which was the only one I didn't do. Porsche seems to have a chip issue w/ Cayenne and sports cars.

I'd absolutely get it installed!!!
I've had them on EVERY car I've had in the past 10 years. The guy that used to do mine has now expanded and has a shop in Orange County but his guys have done great with my cars too.
The only place I trust and my friends true is Arizona CARS up in the Scottsdale Airpark. Ask for Karen, she's super nice and SUPER hot!!!

Is the Porsche paint that soft or brittle that it is chipping easily?

Did anyone do a full wrap? How much did it cost? I'm thinking about doing a full wrap except for the hatch and roof. The reason for wrapping the sides is to protect against overgrown brush on small roads.

On a side note, I called Premier today asking about a full wrap, and they said they'd have to do measurements because they haven't done a full wrap before. I'm assuming it's because the 958 is relatively new.
