@Vince. Any reason you didn't just set the ambience light level in the PCM settings function? It lets you set it at an exact percentage.

I have my ambient lights turned off; I don't get why you would want lights in the footwells and overhead while you were driving at night in any event. Just my opinion, but it seems unnecessary and distracting. Any pilots out there agree?

As far as I know you can't set the ambient light on through the PCM, now your going to make me run downstairs and mess with things!

As for the no lights on at night, I think that comes from the old school flying, when I was getting my Commercial license way back in 93, all the lighting was red to save your night vision, even our flashlights, but with the advent of glass ****pits and tons of electronics now, I don't see it as such an issue anymore, as long as it's not full bright.

In the pic I took, the ambient lighting is actually very low, just the camera made it brighter, that said.

I never have it on, I have it on my car and so I had to mess with it when I got it.

EDIT---

LOL, I just realized it filtered out ****pit!!!!

Yeah, keep the vulgarities to a minimum. No game**** references (SC fans will be sad), or pea**** for that matter.

in pcm i can only change the ones that shine in the cup holders on door and the back door ones in the little hole.. not the ambience button that controls door strips..

i just want the door strips on!.. no foot wells... no overhead...
