I haven't gone yet, but I was told around 300 bucks. They told me it is because the amount of oil it takes to change it.

Maybe you should ask for the breakdown of cost parts vs. service...I bet they are charging an arm and a leg for the oil. If so, go to Costco, get some Mobil 1 for the sale price where they have $10 off, bring it to your dealer and say, I just want the service...not sure if anyone has tried that.

Find an indy shop, the place i take my 911 charges me $99.
I'm assuming it will be the same for my cayenne when it gets here.

I laugh at dealers charging $300 for oil change on 911, that's because it's one of the easiest car to DIY. If the cayenne is as easy, then $300 certainly is a ripoff.

I agree, bring it to an indy shop.

was that at a dealership or Indy?

Mine came to $238 for labor plus $78 for oil, parts, etc. And that was after a 15% discount.

I paid $378 yesterday after a 10% off coupon was applied. Now that is robbery!! It was the first oil change and I wanted them to do the software updates and look the car over. I will only bring it onto the dealer for warranty work in the future.

last time I took mine in, they changed the oil without telling me first, were going to charge me something like $300 I think for the 10 quarts filter and install and dispose, I said not a chance after they completed this job. they then removed it from my bill.
So i paid 0.00 for my 10,000 mile oil charge service.

I just called my dealer to ask about the oil change on a 2012 V6 and the cost is $225. They tried to upsell me into a $590 annual inspection which includes oil change, lube the door seals (?) and cabin air fliler... What a joke...LOL.

Just for the hell of it I called 3 local Porsche dealers to get a price to do the oil change for my CS just to compare. The range was from 289-325 plus tax. I wouldn't have minded that much to pay that but to be charged close to $400 is ridiculous. It's not the $75 or so dollars..it's the principal.

75.00 in my driveway for my 09 cayenne. That was mobil1 and Porsche oem filter. I will do the same in my 2012 V6. My dealer turns the light of for free too

my 11 CS goes in for it's 10K service tomorrow morning - they told me about 300 for the oil change and another 140 if i want the wheels rotated. I sort of get the oil change fee, as they said it also includes some inspection items. What burns me is the tire rotation fee - but i just dont have time to do this myself and at least if they screw up a wheel doing it i will have an easier time getting it made right then at pep-boys.

Does anyone know if there is anything "special" i should be making sure they do as part of first service ?
