Anymore updates on which bulbs are NOT melting the housing?

 

I've had the LED bulb in the car since that photo was taken, and suffice to say it hasn't made my already melted housing any worse. So I guess that's a safe bet.

 

I bought a set of these from superbrightleds.com. I noticed that each LED surface is covered by a yellow cover. Am I supposed to remove the yellow cover before using it, or is the yellow cover a permanent component of the LED that is not to be removed?

 

Noskis, so is http://aznoptics.com/index.php?main_...&products_id=8 works fine on your cayenne? If it works fine on licence plate, it might works for interior light too right?
Are they similar size as factory bulbs?

 

i bought set from aznoptics. it doesnt show error, light is perfect match to xenon but it flickers when it starts and upon shutdown.

 

anyone with led's in the front sidemarkers found a set that last? i purchased a entire kit from DTM and everything is working fine except the sidemarkers recently. I'm getting the flashing and 1 one of the led going out along with the error msg to follow. doesn't happen all the time but more than I would like...

I have the same issue. All four (side markers and license bulb) are flickering. 2/4 or 1/4 pretty much all the time.

 

Try a set from autolumination.com Ive used them for years - no issues. Yes they have CAN BUS bulbs.

 

I have that superbrightled one and it's still working fine. If it stopped working just send it back and they will replace it. I've used their warranty before and they are excellent.

 

Resurrecting an old thread. Looking for LED side marker bulbs to match daytime lights on a 958 CTT, would these be the right choice from AZNOptics? The original link to the recommended product on their site no longer works
