I have just 1200 miles on my 2012 S. I have noticed a high pitched hum that comes from the front of the vehicle when I hit speeds over 80 mph. Is this normal? I assume this comes from the all-wheel-drive system.

i had the same problem.. its from one of the front bearing!

dealer service told me they'd be changing the bearing and front diff. !!

The hum got worse so it's at the dealer now for drivetrain repair. I'll update once they tell me which parts were replaced.

 

The problem is fixed, my dealer is great!
The transfer case had an "internal failure."
It took a week for a new transfer case to be shipped from Germany.
They gave me a loaded 2013 Audi A7 as a loaner. Nice car!
They made no mention of the Fabspeed secondary Cat bypass pipes I installed so apparently there is no warranty issues with these!
