i can smell exhaust smell comin inside.. is this normal??

i smell something bad not Exhaust smell but its similar to Burned eggs
whenever i go fast or kick down gas

My CTT has the same smell whenever i red line at least 1 gear then slow down. The dealer acknowledged this and communicated it to Porsche however, there is no solution to date. Its been over 8 months.

I have the same problem and have been reporting this since September 2010, when I received my 958 Hybrid and now I have a 2011 958 S. Both have the same issue. When you rev the engine and goes above 150km/h - the burning smell appears inside the cabin. The smell is, I would say, lesser now (29k km usage) compares to earlier.

Porsche dealer in Indonesia does not know what to do. Porsche Asia Pacific center in Singapore also does not know what to do. I emailed their head mechanic, a German guy from Porsche Leipzig's facility, but no answer.

I think this is a genetic problem with the 958.

but am having the same problem with Lexus LX570 too.
i think its got to do with some pressure? outside inside?? when we drive fast?
anyways.. it is annoying when u smell this whenever u floor it!

 

I've got the same problem, this strange odor comes only while accelerating at high speeds.

 

I've just bought a 958 GTS with 5K km and have the same issue.

Any solution came up by that time?
