Headlight mist? fog?
Headlight mist? fog?
This happened to my '13 CS, when I parked my car outside in a cold weather, then I drove about 20mins with the headlights on, then I found out the headlights are fog.
I have never seen this to any type of cars before, even those park outside the street everyday and night. I thought the headlight should be 100% completely sealed. So even the headlight inside is hot and outside temp is cold, it shouldn't be getting this problem. But both headlight are fog in the same place. Is this normal to porsche vehicle? I called the dealer, and they say its normal, as long as the fog goes away (but what if it gets dirty from the water mark?
), and it does happens to their vehicles at the dealer too... But I'm not 100% believe on what they say. Thanks

Yeah I know, at least it is balance on both side
Gnat, did you do anything about it?
The Big Easy, was yours even worst than mine? Or they just replace yours when you request it? I wish they can replace mine, and maybe I can add a bit more money on top to change it to black housing with the turbo headlight, since I heard the dealer said they are going to start this option.

Nope it was gone by morning when the sun burned it off so I haven't yet cared. I'm only at about the 800 mile mark anyway and still cataloging issues for my first real trip to the dealer (have an "emergency" sunroof issue I'm taking it in for tomorrow though).
Honestly I expect some condensation/fog in there and am not too worried about it as long as its not a consistent thing and doesn't interfere with the light. Based on this thread I'll watch it closer though (especially on our overnight trip next week).
