Do Porsche drivers wave?

Just curious as I wait for my GTS to be built ... Do Cayenne (or other model Porsche) drivers wave at each other? I miss the Corvette camaraderie but Infiniti owners aren't so friendly.

No

Porsche drivers have for decades flashed the high beams to each other.

I had much luck with Infiniti owners than Porsche owners.

I still wave in my 911, but I think the P-Car wave is lost to most Cayenne buyers

I never wave nor have any Porsche drivers wave at me, ever! I don't think it is a SoCal kinda thing. I do wave to other riders and received waves when I'm on a motorcycle.

No in Louisiana. I get a head turn but no waving from other Porsche drivers though. I got one wave from a Cayenne Turbo owner once in my neighborhood.

I wave...I got a kick when I got a wave back from a guy in a 997 gt2 and I was in my not so hot 86' 951. But since the Cayenne I've waved to a few people and no one waves back (other Cayennes), one guy in a Caymen S waved back. But I've been waving to him about 5 times a week for at least a year haha. I'm not sure what it is about Cayenne owners in my area, probably a status thing more than anything.

Too common here in Colorado to wave. Haven't seen it in years.

I suspect that other Porsche owners don't really consider the Cayenne one of the group.

I haven't gotten any waves in the Cayenne, nor have I waved to anyone. The VW GTI i used to get the Peace sign ALLLLL the time and the M3 I'd get waves from ANYONE. Cayenne, not so much.

From my experience in Colorado.

Cayenne = never
female 997 drivers = never
Cayman/Boxster = sometimes
male 997 drivers = most of the time
older 911 = almost all the time

This post is funny but I was wondering myself. When I had a street bike we always waved. I do waive when I see 911 and very old models like 356.

I get the occasional wave from 993's and thumbs up from motorcycles. I used to wave till I got tired of no response and looking dumb

This is spot on with my experience too. The male drivers of the cars usually wave- females, cayennes, and panamera not so much.
