Diesel: Dipstick available?
Thanks for the info. The one I identified was a 6mm and I can't think of seeing another. It is located close enough to the front under panel I was planning to go ahead and take both off to avoid splattering issues.
My earlier post was inaccurate. Both drain plugs are not silver. Transmission yes, but the engine oil drain plug on mine is actually the same glossy black as the pan itself.

Unsurprisingly PCNA won't give out any details so going anywhere with the Audi/VW stick is very much an on your own thing.
My dealer, however, told me there is a "tool" he could order for me that is essentially just the dipstick. I didn't get the part number, but Porsche being Porsche it's $300!

MSRP $22.90 $0.00 Online Price $13.17
The P/N isn't the issue. Its knowing if it is indeed a drop in fit or if Porsche made any modifications that could cause problems.
I'm not willing to bet the replacement cost of a new engine on a $20 part, but that's just me
