Well, maybe not really a disaster, but close (for us fanatics). I just had the TechArt headlight surround installed by a very reputable shop. Then, when I had the Xpel people do the wrap and wanted to pop out the headlight to wrap that as well, they said the headlight is stuck because the TechArt surround is too tight. In the process they chipped the paint off the surround (see photo). So, now I have a chipped TechArt surround which cannot even be sanded and repainted because it's glued to the headlight, and the headlight cannot be removed. Can anyone suggest a solution - have any installers who have put in the TechArt surround experienced a similar problem?
