Automatic Roll-Down Windows

So I've had issues with the automatic windows on my 2013 V6 almost since I picked it up half a year ago.. When I hold the window button down all the way past the indent to trigger the automatic roll-down, it doesn't work half the time. Is this a common issue? Is there a way around it other that repeatedly poking at the button until it works? Or is this something I should take to the dealer to get looked at?

Thanks!

I would take it in, since it's still under warranty of course, but sounds like a faulty window switch.

Just checking if you've tried this - probably not your issue but it could help

-------

Storing end position of the door windows after connecting the vehicle battery

The end positions of the door windows are lost when the battery is disconnected and reconnected. One-touch operation of the windows is disabled.

Perform these steps for all windows:

Close the window completely once by pulling the rocker switch.
If the window is completely closed, briefly pull the rocker switch again.
Open the window completely once by pressing the rocker switch.

Well, the thing is.. the windows DO work and do know where the start and end points are.. it just doesn't respond half the time I click the button. And it seems to be an issue only on the driver side. Haven't had a chance to get in contact with the dealer yet, but I'll post what happens here when I do.

My 2011 does the same thing - auto down on the driver window only works about half the time. I'm interested to hear if your dealer replaces the switch to fix it.

I've made an appointment with the dealer for the 19th.. but naturally, the windows have been working fine this morning. I'll give it a few more days of testing to see if it did manage to somehow fix itself..
