This function does not seem to work in my 958 - are there any tricks to it?

 

Per the owner's manual, when you drive in Sport mode the Auto Start/Stop is disabled.

Also, if you push the AS/S button and the red light goes ON, that means it's disabled (counterintuitive).

Check those and if it still doesn't work, take it to the dealer.

Also, one more item to note is that if the temp is above or below a certain threshold it also will be disabled - if I recall correctly.

 

Hopefully not to state the obvious, but you don't have a diesel or 6MT do you? AS/S isn't on either of those configurations.

Mostly my driving has been in sport mode, so maybe thats it.
Also, I had the little red light on the switch on, so I will turn it off and see!
