Thermal and Sound Insulated Glass with Toll Tags

Does anyone know if there is an area on the windshield that will allow me to use my toll tag. I've tried a couple places with no luck and I don't see a cut out. Any help would be appreciated!

The top section of the windshield by the rear view mirror is suppose to accommodate toll tags. I haven't and an issue with my thermal glass and the SF Bay Area tags.

Yup that is the area. I have my radar's GPS module mounted on there. If you are concerned about your fastrak toll tag, you don't really need it on the bay area. You just need to register your plate on their website and they will just bill your account from the photo they take as you cross.

I saved the attached PDF that was posted by a member here on 6speed although I apologize that I cannot remember who it was to give proper credit.

I think it gives a nice visual to go along with the on point descriptions you've already received.

FasTrak only worked for me when it was right under the rear view. Also, although plate registration works, it's better to use FasTrak on Golden Gate since it's $1 less.

If you have a valid fastrak account and your plate is registered to that account, there is no $1 surcharge.

Exactly what Hoiya said.

Also Fastrak has the transponder that bolts onto the front license plate with a special key. I have that on some of my vehicles too.

I just checked my Fastrak account, and it does reflect the discount! When I first added my plate, the invoice price didn't immediately change so I was disappointed because I thought that the discount didn't apply.
