Cracked windshield! ggggrrrrrrr
Wife's windshield got a smallish crack ~2" with 4 "legs" the other day. Damn CA roads! This is the second time this year - other time was in our Lexus - which had its windshield replaced 2 years ago.
Anyone replace a windshield on their Cayenne? I'm 99% sure this one is repairable but, just curious if anyone has replaced their windshield and if so, were you able to get an OEM replacement?

I have the same problem, but it's been something I can live with for now. Will replace when and if I get another rock chip or something like that. The OEM windshield is really inexpensive, unless you have a heated one. Would be curious to see if anybody has replaced their windshield and how it all went.
I had mine replaced (non-heated). It was covered by insurance (just had to pay the deductible). There are both the Porsche and 3rd party available, so be careful. I was able to get the Porsche one (I'm told normally insurance pays for 3rd party only). It was a mobile install, took them about about an hour and it came out perfectly. The only annoyance was that it took several days of the car sitting with the windows open before the smell of the adhesive was gone. If you are in the Bay Area, PM me and I can provide the installer details. He does a ton of Porsche, Audi and MB windshields. I believe it would have been about $1100 without insurance (windshield and install).
In my past experiences, they have ALWAYS reused the rear view mirror. The plastic pieces on the sides, clips, and any other hardware has always been replaced though.
