Curtain airbags?

According to the feature list, there should be curtain airbags from A to C pillars, but I can only see airbag labels on the A-pillars. Does anyone know if there are airbags at the B and C pillars?

From what I saw while mine was apart, it's one airbag that starts midway up the A and ends about the C. Seems like it should be two, but that's what it looked like.

On my Panamera, there are airbag labels on each of A, B and C pillars. But on the Cayenne, there is an airbag label on the A pillar only. Is is a one piece air curtain that extends from the A to C pillars?

According to AutoAtlanta it's a one piece unit. Much cheaper than I would expect too.

I pulled out the booklet that the dealers give out in the showroom and it has a drawing of the air bags. The side curtain bags are one continuous piece from front to back. It says curtain air bags on each side of the roof. Looks like you get completely enveloped inside.

That's interesting, that pic makes it look like there is an AB under the steering column too.

Have to check on that before I start ripping panels out on one of my wild modification hairs

But I wonder why there are no airbag labels on the B and C pillars on the Cayenne.

The side curtain air bag comes out of the headliner. There is no way it could make it from the A pillar all the way to the C pillar.

That is how it came out in our 2012 Audi S4

Look at the parts diagram I linked to. It's not "in" the A pillar. It starts in the A pillar and extends along the top of the doors up to (past?) the C pillar. Just one long bag.

Thanks, after a second look at the diagram I understand it.
