To much Bad Assed noise

Can the CTT be made LESS loud. Don't really care for all that rumbling.

This is a first. But seriously, are you running stock? Just wanted to see if you didn't buy the car from someone who installed car bypass pipes or a custom after market exhaust.

A few months old and bone stock. My 05 CTT was quiet, the '14 growls and snorts like a pissed off lion. I guess it comes with the current car but I wish I could tone it down. Just wondering if there was a magic switch that I have stumbled on.

That's interesting. I have a '14 CTTS and I find the tone a little too quiet and am looking at an after market exhaust.

That just seems weird. I don't hear a darn thing from the exhaust or any kind of rumbling...

Very strange indeed.
In stock form, FROM INSIDE THE CABIN, there is virtually no exhaust rumble and downshift gurgle. Outside the cabin there is a slight rumble but you would have to be very close to hear it.
I guess at WOT there might be some rumble in stock form but not enough to bring up on a thread.
I'd be surprised to find this car this is a bone stock exhaust

That's the very thing that has made me appreciate silence.

Nope, totally stock. Had it since mile 3. It's probably just me being critical given the old CTT was so quiet. To be fair, it's not a bad sound, just louder than I want it to be. I'm totally sure that puts me at odds with many here but........Just say'n.

The CTT is noticeable quitter that a Standard Cayenne S or even the noise GTS. No way in heck your stock is loud. I upgraded to a Tubi exhaust and thats loud. honestly the CTT sounded like the V6 base Cayenne. Something must be wrong. Maybe a leak? or misaligned/missing copper fitting. My brand new C63 merc was stupidly loud and it turned out that the rear muffler bolts were only hand tight.
