Incorrect time on dash clock?
Anyone else having this issue? I've never really bothered using it as a real clock but once a while I would look at it, it would be 1 or 2 minutes behind real time, but yesterday, it got really ridiculous at 15 mins.
I will take it in to dealer when I'm doing the 10k service, but just wondering if anyone else experiences this on their '14 or prior

The 13s (and late 12s?) had some issues with the clocks where they wouldn't work right. It was bad enough that some people had multi month delays in getting a replacement. Thought it got cleared up by the mid-13 MY though.
MY 2013 was a real issue for the clocks..Many were replaced.
MY 2014 analog on the dash reads one hour ahead from the digital readings. Cant seem to align it, nd gave up. Its like having my own GMT chronometer on board LOL

it turns out everyday at 5:46 pm, the minute hand just gets stuck there and even when I arrive home at like 6:35, it would still show 5:46pm
this is a pretty stupid problem to have, I even recorded on my phone to show my dealer..
looks like it needs to be replaced...

Incorrect Time on Dash Clock.
Speaking of clocks, I have another question.
I have a 2014 Diesel with the analog clock. When I open the door after its been parked, the clock will move from 12:00 and spin wildly until the correct time has been reached.
Why would Porsche do this and is there anyway that that function can be turned off?

Its a power saving feature. If you sit in the car for a few minutes (5?) after removing the key you'll see it spin wildly and stop at 12:00:00. The Sport Chrono clock also does this in clock mode.
There is no way to disable it that I know of.

Yeah freaked me out the first time I was sitting in the car doing something and it did it's thing. Thought the damn thing was possessed!
I almost never see it start up again as I lock it when I leave and unlock as I get close and it restarts at that point. By the time I'm in a position to see it, it's already ticking away at the current time.
