How Do I Set Dipping Mirror For Reversing?

Hi all

Can somebody help, I can't seem to get the passenger side mirror to dip when reversing, the function is on in the settings but it doesn't drop, I have memory seats, do I need to set it as part of the seat settings as well?

I recall doing something like putting the gearbox into reverse, adjusting the mirror to the dip I want then pressing the memory button to set it when I have my 955 CTT but that doesn't wot in my 958 CTT so how does it wot please?

Manual doesn't help past saying activate the setting?

Thanks

It's in the PCM. I don't recall the exact screen, but I think it is parking aids or something like that.

Does it dip when you press the button on the door arm rest to manually activate the dip? That would tell if the motor is toast.

On my 12 and 13 the mirror button needs to be pushed to the right so it's on the passenger mirror.

The PCM/MFD setting should be all you have to do. Are you giving it enough time? Mine is so slow that I can have backed out of my spot and started forward before it's finished moving, which of course ends up with it stuck in a bad position. I disabled it on mine and just check my passenger side as I approach the car.

like someone mentioned already, when in reverse, press the "right" mirror switch and see if it tilts down

if not, most likely something is wrong
