oil reset with durametric problem

I just got my durametric and tried it out for the first time today. I tried to reset the oil change light in my 2015 CD and it says it sent the reset, but the indicator still says oil change due in 0 miles.

The date is right on my computer, and the durametric software indicates that it reset, but I tried it multiple times and it just won't do it.

I will add, that on the 2015, when the oil change is due, instead of just flashing at startup and self cancelling, it has the annoying message on the PCM until you hit the back button to cancel it. I'm guessing something may have been changed in the software and durametric won't work with it.

Going on vacation for a week tomorrow, so I'll have to wait to call them.

any other ideas?

I have
car in acc mode
flashers on
selected cayenne diesel from the home key button
and then go to instrument panel, commands and reset diesel indicator.

other guys have been using it for a while here, so I'm guessing the change was for 2015, maybe 14. The dash indication is definitely different between my 12 and 15. The 12 only flashed the service due at startup and then it went away. The new one stays on until you hit the back arrow and clear it. Never saw a reason to worry about it in the 12.

Talked to Durametric today. They are aware it doesn't work on the 15 diesel and its on their engineers to do list.

I been trying to reset my oil change indicator on my 2013 Cayenne Diesel all week. Durametric has sent me a dozen emails telling me to try different things. I guess, based upon my experience, and what I'm reading here, it doesn't work on recent Cayennes.

when you start your car and the oil change due message comes on, does it stay on until you cancel it, or just show up for a couple seconds?

Just FYI, I have a 2013 CD and the durametric software works fine to reset the service change indicator.

worked for me today on my 2012 CTT. Plug the X431R into to OBDII port. Turn on key. You can also access the menu by plugging micro USB cable into port on bottom and connect to power supply, then press the blue button to exit to the normal menu.

Mine came with Chinese menu and instructions. Here's the way to get it into English menu. These are the English equivalents of the screens.

First screen take the second to last item down (Tools)
See below:

If in Chinese, scroll down to second to last item and press green return button.

press green return

select language press green return

on third page second item down is Porsche

Does anyone know if it will work on a '16 with Porsche Entry & Drive. That seems to be where the Durametric runs into trouble.

Thanks so much for the link and the instructions about changing the language! I just got mine, and was able to reset the OCI in my 2013 CD (with keyless entry and drive).

That may not sound like a big deal, but after much frustration and failure with the Durametric, it seemed like a win!
