Diesel Issues....
I'm not too concerned at this point. The machinations at VW and the US government will take a lot more time before any final agreement surfaces. There must be 1,000s of attorneys working on both sides to come to terms where both will be satisfied. Obviously VW has little to negotiate but they will.
As to the lack of communication, the last one was a few months ago. So far $500 voucher to be used towards maintaining your CD and an extended warranty are nice.
I bet we'll get more concessions when the dust settles. For now, very content with my CD.

I think the diesel owners have to realize - compared to the 500,000 VW's - the number of Cayenne diesels involved is minor noise to VW. If there are 10,000 Cayenne diesels in the US it would surprise me. Eventually the agreement will trickle up to the Cayenne, but VW is going to put attention where the real money is going - and that's the huge number of TDI's they'll be eating up with buybacks.
So a few percent of the "problem" are Cayenne diesels. I suspect the attention they get will be reflected by that number.
