Ok, I've been looking closely Porsche WDS and if I'm not mistaken I don't need plugs but I'll need to make the wires for the specific pin slots on the existing connectors, of course assuming those pin slots are empty because they're reserved for Entry and Drive. I do think I'll need the plugs for the antennas though. Looking for it at the moment.

Hope I can hear anyone's thoughts on this.

you are correct, you need plugs for antennas.

got them on WDS. They are common 2 pin plugs. I've seen them a lot. Most of this plugs can be found as Audi parts )))) Now as per wiring them to the main module should not be hard. I now which pin each cable goes to. The same goes for the handle wires to the door module plug. Common sense tells me that this plugs if there was no option ordered (Entry And Drive) the slots on the connector corresponding to it it's there but empty. My tech told me it can be done. After that picks programming.

jajajaja I agree but since outside is, well mostly the same as you saw the inside, I took the chance to do it. But believe it or not it takes the same time for 2 to remove the front and rear bumper and do the same for the interior.

Talking Update on kessy installation

Well to keep the post alive...\

Well it was time to ride to the shop to program everything. That was yesterday and still we're working on trying to figure out why the plastic key is not programming. We had to reprogram the used FRONT BCM i got for this and the rear BCM to be able to detect the 6 antennas. The tech has been getting a value for the rear antenna (the main transmitter antenna on the rear roof spoiler) of 698 way above the maximum value of 200 and Piwis 3 says that the signal is too weak.

The 2 keys do program themselves but we can't finish the process due to this. There is no error in communication, all 6 KESSY antennas are detected and with values on parameter for each of them not exceeding the maximum.

For information i buought a used front BCM Unit with KESSY option and had to reprogram it. My cayenne is European so the Freq. is 433mhz. This is the unit that is giving us the 698 value. We tested with another working kessy unit from a friends cayenne and it did not work at all. But we also tested this unit on his cayenne and everything works fine meaning that the unit i have is not faulty.

Any help is appreciated. SERG124 or anyone ... The only thing i did not change was each door control modules. I've been searching on the web to check if those are needed and can only see some referencing to KESSY and some none... Oh by the way the front bcm unit i have is model 7PP907064DF

Hey, Hoping you are still around after 5 years...

I am chasing down an issue with my FOBs and think it might be the receiver antennas... anyway I am curious where all of them are. My fob works "OK" from the sides and back of the vehicle but almost not at all if I am standing in front of the car. my question is Is there an antenna in the front of the Cayenne?

Be interesting to find out if he was ever successful with his upgrade. I had the same idea when I got mine used in 2018

Did you get KESSY working in the end? I'm just starting the process now (have all the parts) so any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
