958 Vanity Mirror LED

Hello my friends I've been out for a while because I have the CTT on 4 towers awaiting the Techart Magnum kit (Check pictures) and while doing so decided to swap all lights to LED. I already had the light comfort package which is a must but here are some pictures

As for the vanity the pictures speak for themselves just be very careful not to break the mirror.

that was a wrap Chrome Red and was a PITA to remove, my fingers still hurt hehehe. Concentrated on the Magnum Kit at the moment. Sold the side steps and bought the standard side skirt which is required to install the Magnum Kit side skirts. Still waiting for my wheel adapters to arrive (48mm rear 31mm front). I found replacing the mirror was easier when putting the tabs in first then gently pushing the other end into the sliding door. Unfortunately I got bulbs that where not the correct size. Waiting for the correct bulbs.

Changing the order of factors does not change the product. On the bulb matter it happened to me. I'm doing some weird fix. Which bulb did you get this time? The thing with this is that most of the time you need a round bulb rather that the typical rectangular led one and you need to face it to the outer sides to have the proper light distribution elsewhere you'll end up with shadows.

I got some COB LED bulbs from AliExpress, and took them apart and soldered them into place. This way they are flat - the LED bulbs made the entire thing bulge - and you can turn them as needed to direct the light.

I have a 2013 CD and I'm trying to change my vanity lights and it looks like the tabs for mine are actually under the sliding door side unlike the photos above. Can someone help me step by step thru getting the mirror off please? Also, is the light inside the door well that shines down into the door pocket the same LED bulb that is used in the rest of the interior lights? Is that the same bulb used for the side mirror puddle lights also?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Clifton

The door will actually slide open more - there is a little area you can push to allow it to slide more located on the visor, towards the same side the door opens to... Like maybe just at the end of the open door, push on the soft part of the visor, and you will feel a tab inside that will allow the door to slide far enough for you to be able to take everything apart.

Vanity Bulb Type?

I have a 2013 CD does anyone know what bulb goes in the vanity now that I have it open? Also, can you change the bulbs in the door pocket without removing the door interior? And what type bulb goes in the side mirror puddle lights? Thanks!
