FabSpeed Exhaust with Secondary Cat Bypass Cold Start Video

Wife hates it, says she will never drive the car again, says her friends will talk about her, blah, blah, blah, sell the car, you ruined it, blah, blah, blah.........

OK, you drive the RR from now on and I will take this one out to west texas and the woods and scratch it all up. Grandson is torn between being loyal to the wife and wanting to like it. Of course he likes it but he doesn't want to **** off grandma.............

LOL! Wait till I tell her if I sell it she isn't getting another Porsche, she will have to have a Lexus or Infiniti and no more crap BMWs either.

Just got done putting in the BMC filters and they do make a difference. Car sucks air and has more power when you put the pedal down. You can hear and feel the difference. I wouldn't have believed it but I told the installers to leave them out and I would put them in. It wasn't too hard but getting the air box lined back up is a little tricky on the driver side or maybe it's just because that was the last one I was doing and of course the last thing is always where stuff goes slowest in car work......

Cold Start with BMC Filters

Here it is now with the filters added. I can sure feel them in the front but the forum should give some feedback if the sound is any different. It is in the cabin and the feel is too, even sitting there idling.

Sounds awesome. My wife would be in the same camp but after 22 years I know better than to start messing with her car

I'm driving it more than my 991tts now. Since my wife won't drive it, I have to. Love the sound so I keep the windows rolled down. Hah, let her drive the RR long enough and she is going to be begging to drive the Cayenne soon enough. I like the RR but it's not the CTTS, not as luxurious and not nearly as good looking and it never even sounded as good. I know my snooty wife is going to be driving it back to play tennis with her friends, she likes having the best car and the RR isn't that.

Thanks for posting.

I've gone back and forth regarding adding the Fabspeed exhaust to my catbypass system.
I wish i could hear the combo in person.
The Youtube videos just don't convince me that it produces the sounds i'm looking for.

Do you get any decent burbles?

It's not like the TTS, the sport mode on the CTTS just doesn't dump the fuel like the 911 so you don't get the downshift noises. It does sound pretty throaty when you take off but you don't get a lot when it downshifts. It's definitely an improvement but I think a drive by video is what you really need to appreciate it. Maybe I can recruit my son to make one on Thanksgiving like we did with my 991tts last Thanksgiving. I can definitely hear the car coming down the street from inside the house.

Nice.
That would be outstanding...thanks for considering!!
The few videos i can find on YouTube didn't do the CTT justice IMO.

By the way, very jealous of your tts. Great ride and sweet color
I'm wearing out the Porche's web-builder creating different versions every night
