replacement 20" tire suggestions?

For my 2012 958TT. In Florida - summer or all season

Thinking of Continental:

1. CROSSCONTACT LX SPORT
Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season 275/45R20,

2. EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06
Ultra High Performance All-Season275/45ZR20 110W XL

OR suggestions?

Also, please tell what mileage you are you getting on yours?
Thanks. (crossposted to 958 forum)

Does your area get below 45 degrees consistently? If not, there's no need for an all-season. Summers you will obviously get better performance at the expense of thread life...if you want a good all-season, I've always been happy with the DWS.

Rarely gets below 45 degrees F. Didn't see any recommended summer tires that rated as high as the DWS-06.

I just ordered a set of Goodyear Eagle Sports. I had a similar tire on a car previously and really liked them. Close to the same price point as the Continentals (I think they were about $210 each). I'll report back in a few months how I like them but they seem to rate pretty well with Tirerack customers so far.

Edit: meant to include a link and also mention these have the same treadwear rating as the DWS 06 at 560....https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...Without%20TPMS

I had two set of the DWS 06's on my last car and loved them. They are quiet, do well in weather, and last awhile.

I currently have Hankook Ventus ST's on the Cayenne and they are a summer patterned, all season compound tire. Out of the two, I still prefer the DWS's.

I just ordered 4 21" DWS 06's from Tire Rack. I researched a lot of tires and options and for me they were the best choice. And the Tire Rack price beat everyone else's. It was a no brainer for me. JMO-

Michelin LTX all the way

I'm 57 and have been buying tires for 41 years. Hands down you cannot beat pretty much any Michelin. The new Premier LTX, while only start with 8.5/32nds of tread, are superb for the Q7/Cayenne. They are the roundest, most balanced and high quality tire out there period. They carry a 60k warranty. Oh, and they are really good on snow and ice! Their technology is such that he sipes actually get wider as the tire wears. All the rest mentioned (I've owned) and are marginal at best. Just my experience

Finally got around to putting on my new tires and wheels. Ride is stiffer, obviously switching from Blizzaks. I had almost forgotten how hard this thing will corner with non-winter tires on it. Took a big looping off ramp at pretty smokin speed. Feel the bumps a lot more but that's to be expected going to a 40 series tire.
