Evoms vs Giac tune

Looking into a tune for my new to me 2011 Cayenne Turbo. I’ve narrowed it down to either GIAC or Evoms. I’m looking for a reliable tune that’s flashed via handheld so I can go back and forth. These seem like the best options. Not much info I can find here. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

I also see that Evoms offers a piggyback. Anyone know why the offer both and the differences between the 2 other then one being a flash and th either a piggyback, of course.

Thanks so much for your interest!

Our piggyback is no longer sold or really supported. It was there to fill the gap before we could program the 2010-2013 Cayenne Turbo.

This platform is now all flash tune file calibration, which is more powerful and more consistent than the old piggyback was.

Few things to keep in mind when choosing a tune vendor:

-our tune is installed via the OBDII port with a handheld tool so the user can turn it back to stock whenever is needed.

-we offer great support

make sure the vendor you may be comparing us to is not mail order only and also able to provide the support we offer

Call us to order and ask for the GM forum thread discount, we can ship same day!

Your year range of 2010-2013 is interesting here. 2008-2010 was the 957 generation with the 4.8L DFI motor. 2011 transitioned to the 958 generation. What was different about the last year of the 957?

Looking it up now, this is an honest mistake on our end. The 958 went on sale in 2010 as a 2011 model year, and honestly the first two local development cars we had were said to be 2010 cars by their owners when they were in fact early 2011s and I hadn't looked this up until now. We'll revise our listings .

OK, cool. Is the same package (or something similar) available for a 2009 957 Turbo S?

Yeah, we have a full line up for that truck including hardware. It's rated for a bit more power than the 958TT, though the stopwatch performance isn't quite as good due to the transmission. See here for software: http://www.evoms.com/957_Cayenne_TT_...4.5l-07-09.htm and here for other items: http://www.evoms.com/category_s/1903.htm

We have a 20% off sale going on all software through the end of the year. Enter EVOMS2017 at checkout or call/email to order.

I hear of tunes being offered, via MPPS cable and flashed online. Are they good?
