06 cayenne s (vibrating)

Hey all, I have 06 Cayenne S and I got a quick question for you guys.
I just noticed sicne yesterday that my steering wheel starts to vibrate after about 70 mph. I never had this kind of problem before (11k miles on odometer) so I am just wondering if it's a simple alignment problem.

I had a nail on one of my tires while back.

Can anyone possibly tell me what's going on with it or should I just take it to a dealer?
Thanks!

sounds like a balance issue. maybe you lost a wheel weight or the tire is out-of-round.

balance issue for sure. go and reballance all of your 4 wheels, but first you can check the tire pressure. good luck.

Balance issue.

I had to take my car to HBL 3 times to get it right.

My 04 Cayenne S was doing the same thing until I replaced all four tires. Vibration stopped once tires were replaced

tires need balance, especially front ones in your case. will cost 50 bucks if you align them at the dealer, or go to sears, they'll do it for you for a cheaper rate probably

You have to go to a shop with a "road force" balancer. Last time I was looking around Dallas, NTB, Discount, etc. didn't have the right machine. Found a Firestone in Irving that did mine. I had been told by NTB that I had a bad wheel. The proper balancer made the ride smooth as glass at any speed.

most of the discount tire stores have the road stress balance machines. they charged me 55 bucks for balancing four tires. the guy working there was very friendly and he told me that car dealers don't have the stress balance machines, they just have the regular ones...

Road Force Balance on a Hunter Machine is preferred, don't take any substitute the Cayenne is very sensitive to wheel balance.
