'12 CSH update

Just passed 1200 miles and my dealer called to offer a free "courtesy" checkup after 2 months... So I went over and built a relationship with Gunter, the service manager... among other things he was able to delete the horn honking when setting the alarm... On the trip over and back and running other errands... past 90 mph in several cases, and always around 80 on the freeway portions, averaged 27 mph!! That's what I'm talking about!!

Last weekend I towed the racecar to Laguna Seca and back and averaged 17 mph...and it was a very easy tow...better power than I expected...I'm starting to warm up to this Hybrid!

Can I ask why you wanted the horn deleted? That's how i tell it's been activated.

I have an 12 S and recently took it on a 1800 mile trip, and averaged around 21 MPG, at 76 average MPH.

Awesome vehicles!!!

One of the biggest complaint for 997 owners is the fact that alarm doesn't beep when armed/ disarmed. And having only one button for both function doesn't help either.

Don't know on the 997, but I think the beep on the Cayenne is sort of an anemic bleet...
