2012 caysnne turbo or 2013 cayenne gts
SubscribeI am going to sell my panamera turbo and want to get another cayenne ( have had 2 cayenne turbos previously ). Should I get a 2012 cayenne turbo or wait for a 2013 cayenne gts ( I hear they will be out in July)?
GTS out in July? Doubt it, Porsche hasn't mentioned even a lil hint that a GTS is in the works. The only thing for the 13' new would be the diesel their bringing over. Hopefully they eventually do, b/c a GTS based on the new model with it's big weight loss compared to before would be awesome.

They waited 4+ years on generation one to come out with the GTS. I haven't seen anything online or anywhere else about it yet, so your dealer is probably just blowing smoke. Love to be proved wrong, well not really because I want my GTS to be the only style out there...

I called Champion, there's no GTS model coming out and nothing in the plans for one at least for a couple more years. If there was a new model coming out even at the end of this year, it would already be all over in reports, Porsche doesn't really hide anything, especially if this was coming out in a matter of months. Not happening. Originally Posted by 111GTS

there is a Cayenne GTS coming out for 2013. The local dealer here confirmed it as well. It will be released in the Paris Auto Show.

I'd be really surprised if it actually came out this year, maybe in a year or two. but if it does, cool, would be nice with the huge weight loss the new gen has. Guess we'll have to wait till the end of the year to see what happens.

The GTS is a badass SUV when compared to most other car makers, but compared to the CTT.... no way. The only benefit is the exhaust note and its cheaper. The new CTT with PDCC/PTV handles so damn well and is so nimble that the GTS is not going to be much better at all in that area.
We did an autocross in a CTT at the Porsche driving school, and it really showed what it could do.
Also for under $4k you can add an additional 90hp to a CTT.
No comparison!
By the way, you are going to miss the smooth shifts of the PDK from you PTT. The CTT tranny seems to have a long delay between shifts under heavy load.

Can you please tell me who offers 90hp tune under 4K?

Evoms ecu tune gives between 50-80 Hp gains itself. Put in some 2nd cat bypass pipes and you got another 30 Hp. Originally Posted by Greg-TT
