the "VS" is more of a video title thing...but the jeep is on 35's and the porsche did remarkably well...not too many Jeep's could have followed

You're obviously not very informed on Jeep capability. I never see any Cayenne's at Moab, or over 10,000 in the mountains (in rough terrain). Sloppy mudding isn't much "off roading". Come out to "off-road country" and we'll show you around.

Agree. Most trails I take my landcruiser on, the cayenne would not get 10 feet. In Moab you might get through Fins and Things, but that is about it. Anything else that is routinely traversed by jeeps, landcruisers and rovers would eat the cayenne. That said if you could get full sliders, skid plates, rock bumpers, and a winch, you could beat your way along. A good driver can go a long way, but even that will only get you so far. It is just not designed for offroading.

My off road truck of choice IS a jeep...but one this is Porsche forum, and really the GTS for a stock Porsche with studded winter tires... it did very well...no??

It did well sliding around in the mud and water. Unfortunately, it's not really what I consider off roading. It makes me cringe at having to wash it afterwards.
