Ok so here is what happened. Me and wife really liked the radio and screen of the 2006 cayenne turbo we bought last week. But had no nav for the wife kept saying install navigation DVD. So I ordered one from porsche dealer for 350$. So it arrives has 5 DVD . 2 for the cayman which i put to the side and the other three were
1. multimedia update cd
2. navigation update cd
3. new navteq 2013 update DVD for the dvd drawer/tray.
So I went out to car and first inserted multimedia update cd it got to about 25% and said update error and aborted! So I removed the cd thinking maybe did not require update so inserted the navigation update cd and waited for it to complete. Removed and pushed nav button on PCM and asked for nav DVD which I put into DVD tray. Soon after got the maps up on my screen and was just looking through some of the menus when my son called us in for supper so I shut the car off which was running the whole time came back out started. It up and nothing no screen no radio,no back up camera just a black screen like no power.
Checked the fuse 11 which was good. Tried the rest code of 148 together nothing.
Did I somehow damage the PCM? I have the dura metric can I do anything to bring it back? Anything I can try?

I feel like such an idiot right now!

durametric is pulling code 459 pcm2.

 

I don't know if (and doubt) the new discs would harm the system. But I'm pretty sure the new discs won't work in the older PCM system.
