17 Cayenne ...No sound Right side. No communication PCM/Amp

Hi all, Im having an issue with my 17 Cayenne base model concerning sound. Out of warranty so hoping someone can help! To rewind, my windshield and pano glass shattered from debris and both had to be replaced. No problem. However the sound stopped working despite radio/CD/bluetooth/ipod all playing songs but no sound from speakers. I looked into the bose amp and sure enough discovered evidence of moisture in the big bracket plugin of the amp. I bought a pre owned amp from the same vehicle that share the same amp part number and option. I plugged in and only drivers side speakers work. No sound from any passenger speaker. I noticed when i plug in the fiber optic cable into the Amp, for a split second, sound comes on in the passenger side and then turns off. I brought it to dealer and they said...no communication between PCM and Amp. They cant even configure amp as no communication. It shows "? 29000" on their system. Apart from replacing PCM they had no other suggestions. However even with replacement...issue may remain as there seems to be communication issue. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas? PCM and Amp work but cant communicate. Please assist.

Same issue, any resolution?

Hello, I’m having the exact same issue. Sunroof broke and the amp got wet, replaced it and sound only works on one side. Even bought a second amp and till the same issue, yet phone calls work on both sides etc. Were you ever able to resolve this issue?

Hi, Did you ever get this resolved? We have the same problem with our 2017 Cayenne Hybrid.

Hello, we took it to the dealer and they replaced the subwoofer on the passenger side and all issues were fixed. I think the dealer charged around $900 or something like that, not including the amplifier which I replaced myself.

I replaced the amp and only right side works now, notice that one of the 2 optic fiber cables has light…
any suggestions? Could this be the issue?
