Race Gas at the Pump in Colorado Springs

Orange pump at Chief Petroleum near 10th and 24 (Cimmaron St).

Was around $8.30 a gallon yesterday (100oct unleaded - they have other leaded VP fuels as well). Pay at the pump!

Sweet, thought they had closed for a while.

(You really should do the math for e85, I am getting it for $2.89 in some parts of town, has higher octane than Vp100 and smells like fresh popcorn under WOT...ok maybe that last part is reaching :-)

I've done the math! Trying to justify it! Current gas prices at average miles I drive a year it would take 10-12 years to break even at this point... The 1/3 race gas mix I plan on doing is only $5.30 per gallon at today's rates. E85 needs more fuel... So by my estimates I would only save around $400-500 per year...

I would love to do it, but have to do it for other reasons! :-)

I did get my boost back up to 1.2bar yesterday! Had to play with the Greddy a little to get it to actually come on somewhat normal up in the clouds here! I need to fine tune it some more, but pretty happy to be back to at least 1/2 deepblue's hp! May that just sounded sad! lol

Nico Suave is on a distinguished road
Indeed, E85 burns much faster than gas. For my car (R35 GT-R) also requires at least 1000cc injectors, fuel pumps, and a custom tune.
