Tips on caring for leather/alcantara insert seats?

This is my first car with the combo seats and I just do not know the best way to approach taking care of the leather without messing up the sueded fabric.

I have an unopened Sonus Cleaner/Conditioner pkg that I never got around to using as well Spinneybeck leather cleaner/conditioner among others, but I have no idea how to best use them with these seats.

Do I just need to be really really careful in dealing with the juxtaposed areas or is there some kind of secret way to doing it well? Any tips would be greatly appreciated

I meant to respond to this..thanks for bringing it back on radar. As for conditioning leather and alcantara or suede, so long as you don't apply the leather conditioner directly on the suede or alcantara, you're in great shape. If you do get some leather conditioner on the suede, simply spray some interior cleaner on a microfiber towel, and just wipe the affected area. Hope this answers your question.

Thank you, I appreciate the reply. I've never dealt with seats like this before and thought there might be some easy way of conditioning the leather without messing up the sueded perforated inserts. I'm just afeared of permanently gunking up the fabric or staining it, its great to know I can use interior cleaner on it if nec (although I don't think I have anything like that beyond P303 for the plastics..).

Thanks again

No worries There's not a whole lot you can do to cars now days that will permanently damage things. Just use common sense and good quality products. If you need the interior cleaner, we sell the Autoglym Interior Cleaner from England. It's the best interior cleaner I've seen and I haven't switched since 1997.
